In partnership with: The Raspberry Pi Foundation
What to expect:
How do digital images work, and what are the differences between bitmapped and vector graphics?
In this session, you will experience a model lesson using the semantic wave structure, and we will demonstrate how you can use the creative commons content on Ada Computer Science to make your own teaching resources.
You will:
- Explore how bitmapped and vector graphics are represented in computer systems
- Take part in an interactive activity to deepen your understanding
- Try out a short quiz designed to reinforce key concepts
- Reflect on how you can teach these concepts to your own students
Target Audience: Computing and computer science teachers for S2 to S6 students (Scotland) and for GCSE and A level students (England) aged 14 – 18.
