What to expect:
Come along to our careers event for students studying Computing and Engineering degrees. This is a great opportunity to gain insight into industry, along with a chance meet other women and gender minorities in STEM. We will also be providing free ice cream!
The event consists of multiple 10/15 minute talks from professionals about their current job, their career path and advice for getting into these jobs. These talks will be followed by time for networking and further chance to learn about job opportunities.
The Session will be led by Napier STEM, a society for Women and gender minorities in STEM within Napier University. Napier STEM was created in association with equate Scotland, and follow the goal to promote gender equality in STEM and build community and support for women studying these subjects.
Who should attend:
Women and gender minority students studying Computing or Engineering degrees.
