And the winner of the Ada Scotland Inspiring Educator Award 2025 is Dr Lynn Love from Abertay University! As the quotation below illustrates, Lynn has a long track record of supporting her female students and colleagues.
Lynn has been an invaluable asset in encouraging gender diversity in the industry and academia alike and providing guidance and support both to students and professionals.
And not only that, Lynn was an instrumental part of the Ada Scotland Festival this year, leading on the wonderful schools event at Abertay! Congratulations and thank you, Lynn!

For the last five years, we’ve been delighted to celebrate teachers up and down the country with the Ada Scotland Inspiring Teacher Award. This year, in response to demand, we’re expanding the eligibility to include educators from any sector: college and university lecturers, tutors, and, of course, teachers at both primary and secondary level, can all be nominated.
