Ada Scotland Inspiring Educator Award 2025

Do you know a teacher, tutor, or lecturer in Scotland who has gone the extra mile to encourage girls to get into computing?

Perhaps someone who’s supported or inspired their female students, organised computing-related events for girls, or simply had some extra words of encouragement for a female student with an interest in computers? Nominate them for the Ada Scotland Inspiring Educator Award now!

For the last five years, we’ve been delighted to celebrate teachers up and down the country with the Ada Scotland Inspiring Teacher Award. This year, in response to demand, we’re expanding the eligibility to include educators from any sector: college and university lecturers, tutors, and, of course, teachers at both primary and secondary level, can all be nominated.

Thanks to our sponsors, we are delighted to be able to offer a hamper full of ethically-sourced goodies to the winner of this year’s updated award, as well as a new nifty-looking trophy!

  • Nominations close midnight on 14 November 2025.
  • You can’t nominate yourself!
  • Hamper may only be delivered to a school, college, or university in Scotland.
