What to Expect:

Smarter Grid Solutions will be hosting an Employer Round-table Event, focused on Allyship and Microaggressions. We’ll explore what Allyship is, the benefits of good Allyship and how it can be promoted within the workplace. We’ll also explore Microaggressions: what are they, how to identify them, what you can do if you are on the receiving end of a microaggression and what Companies can do to create awareness and eliminate these in the workplace.

Format: In-person. Short roundtable presentations will be delivered to ignite further discussions and sharing of ideas and experiences under Chatham House Rules. Key takeaways will be reported unattributed. Time for informal 1-2-1 conversation is built into the event timings.

This is open employers in the Scottish tech community interested in improving gender balance within their organisation. Discussion will be particularly pertinent to team leaders and business managers.
