What to expect:

Speakers will give an overview of their journey in STEM, both studying and work life. They will also discuss barriers they have faced in their career, due to gender, and advice they would give others to overcome these.

There will be multiple 10-15 minute talks, with refreshments provided and time to network provided.

This is a hybrid event, so those not able to attend in person can attend online.

Who is it for:

Women and gender minority students, and their allies, from all Edinburgh universities and colleges, who are studying STEM subjects. The event will be a chance to hear experiences of career paths within STEM. There will be a chance to network and ask questions.
