This workshop is designed to help teachers harness the power of data in their classrooms.

– Interactive Workshop: Using Google Sheets to explore data.
– Facilitated by expert data analysis tutors
– Hands-on experience with cross curricular data sets.
– Overview of longer SQA accredited data courses.
– Access to range of interactive data learning resources
– Features data sets from various subject areas that align with subject specialisms or explore cross-curricular applications.

This taster session also provides you with interactive teaching resources and an overview of a range of SQA-accredited courses to provide your students with valuable real-world data skills.

By the end of the workshop, teachers will have learned essential techniques to develop the skills needed to create data-driven lessons. This workshop will also serve as a solid foundation for delivering extended data courses, empowering educators to enhance their teaching with data-focused approaches.

Who is it For:

The workshop is open to teachers of all subjects and when you register via the link below you are asked to select subjects of most interest to you so the training can be geared as close as possible to your classroom objectives. Note this event has been scheduled to align with one of the In-Service Days to enable teachers to attend.
