Join us at Robert Gordon University for the Ada Scot Festival — a fun, hands-on day designed to inspire the next generation of girls and non-binary young people to explore technology and computing.

Whether you’re already interested in coding or have never tried it before, this is a chance to get creative, solve problems, meet inspiring people and discover where technology could take you.

Who is it for:

The festival is open to everyone but priority is given to P6–P7 female and non-binary pupils.

No previous computing or coding experience is needed — just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm!

What will you do?

The day will include an inspiring keynote talk followed by interactive, hands-on workshops:

🤖 Cutebot Maze
Put your coding and problem-solving skills to the test as you programme a robot to navigate a maze.

🥪 Jam Sandwich Algorithm
Discover how computers follow instructions by creating your own algorithm — using the surprisingly tricky challenge of making a jam sandwich!

You’ll also have the opportunity to meet women and non-binary people working and studying in technology, ask questions and find out more about careers and opportunities in computing.
