CodeYourFuture is a volunteer-led, UK-registered charity that trains refugees and others from underprivileged backgrounds to become professional software developers.

Harnessing the potential of vocational training for a job in tech, our mission is to remove unfair social barriers for underprivileged people in society and help create a society where everyone has a chance to lead a thriving live.

Creating opportunities for women is central to our work here. As well as having policies in place such as childcare provision and support, our commitment to gender diversity is represented by our last two classes in Glasgow being made up at least 50% by women – almost of all of whom were from a BAME background. However, we still aim to improve the potential for CYF to support more women into life-changing careers in tech.
